ST ALBAN’S BRIDGE PROJECT WINS ICE WALES AWARD

The team effort between Alun Griffiths (contractors) Ltd and Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council has won this year’s ICE Wales Roy Edwards Award. The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is the world’s oldest professional engineering body.

We were delighted to play a part of this project by fabricating the 115 tonnes of weathering steel girders for this bridge at our facility in Pontypool.
