Pro Steel Engineering announces partnership with William Hare and Balfour Beatty on Olympic Stadium strengthening.

We are delighted to announce our partnership with leading structural steelwork fabricators William Hare and Balfour Beatty on the strengthening and remodeling of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Stadium.

Following last year’s granting of a 99-year tenancy to West Ham United, the London Legacy Development Corporation and Newham Council were specifically set-up to oversee redevelopment of the stadium. The £200 million reconfiguration will see it transformed into a UEFA Category 4 venue, seating over 54,000 spectators. Once our work has been completed, the stadium will house retractable seating on all sides of the stadium and an 84.0 m (91.9 yd.) transparent roof that will become the largest-spanning tensile roof in the world.

This high-profile work represents a significant coup for Pro Steel Engineering and we’re thrilled to work on such a big project.
